ROLE OF THE WOMAN
Resultado de imagen de WOMAN

Some of these changes are related to the current modification of the role of women. In more developed societies, women can already enter (or re-enter after having children) in the labor market at any stage of family life, so they face greater expectations about doing so only through marriage and the family.

SIZE OF THE FAMILY

In the 20th century, the number of large families has declined in the West. This change is particularly associated with a greater residential mobility and a lower economic responsibility of the children towards the elderly, it is also due to the fact that family planning groups are already being carried out to avoid having unwanted children, as the subsidies of Work and other benefits by the State that improve the standard of living of retirees.

In the 1970s the family prototype evolved in part to modified structures that included single-parent families, families of the married father in second nuptials and families without children. In the past, single-parent families were often the result of the death of one parent; Currently, most single-parent families are the result of divorce, although many are single women with children.

In 1991, one in four children lived with only one parent, usually the mother. However, many single-parent families become families with both parents through a new marriage or the constitution of a de facto partner.

DEFINITION OF THE FAMILY

The family (of the Latin family) is a group of people formed by individuals united, primarily, by relations of filiation or couple. The Dictionary of the Spanish Language defines it, among other things, as a group of people related to each other who live together, which implies the concepts of kinship and coexistence, although there are other modes, such as adoption. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it is the natural, universal and fundamental element of society, it has the right to the protection of society and the State.
