STYLES OF FAMILIES
- Nuclear family: formed by the parents and one or more children • Extended family: grandparents, uncles, cousins and other related blood relatives.
- Single-parent family: in which the child or children live with a single parent (either the mother or the father).
- Assembled family: An assembled family, reconstituted family or mixed family, is a family in which one or both members of the current couple have one or more children from previous unions.
- The family of separated parents: in which the parents refuse to live together; They are not couple but they must continue fulfilling their role of parents before the children, however distant they may be.
- Homoparental family: one where a couple of men or women become the progenitors of one or more children.
