DEFINITION OF THE FAMILY

 

The family (of the Latin family) is a group of people formed by individuals united, primarily, by relations of filiation or couple. The Dictionary of the Spanish Language defines it, among other things, as a group of people related to each other who live together, which implies the concepts of kinship and coexistence, although there are other modes, such as adoption. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it is the natural, universal and fundamental element of society, it has the right to the protection of society and the State.
